John I Forbes is based at Slains Park Farm, Kinneff, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, The Forbes family and the predecessors have farmed at Slains Park since 1936.

Currently owned by John Forbes a mixed farm expanding to 899.65Ha and contract farming agreement covering 756.74 Ha

A cropping rotation of Spring and Winter Barley, Winter Wheat, Winter Oil Seed Rape, Winter Rye, Spring Barley, Seed Potatoes, Daffodils and Grass

Milking 300 dairy cows on a Lely Robotic Parlour, 140 Spring Suckler Herd & 2000 Outdoor Sow Herd.

In 2016 we diversified into renewable energy, commissioning a 400 KWh Anaerobic Digester and x2 250 KWh Biomass Boilers
